BIOGRAPHY
From an early age Acid Steve gravitated towards electronic music via his trusty ghetto-blaster, tuning into pirate radio stations such as Unity88.4, Pulse 90.6, Eruption 101.3 instead of doing his homework, the naughty lad.
His passion for all sounds electronic continued to develop, until one day he found himself in a shop, staring at some turntables that were winking seductively at him.
Inspired by the underground techno scene, by 2001 he was DJing at the Unsound parties in the Arches, by 2005 he had begun to DJ with the Every1Sound sound system.
This DJ journey has taken him to 3 continents, playing alongside DJs such as Chris Liberator, Aaron Liberator, DAVE the Drummer, DJ Ogi and Jeff Amadeus.
He has now moved into promotions, running Electric Avenue with Klaus T since 2006 and his current project is the Vote Techno Party night, promoting underground electronic music - of course ;-)
Currently his favourite labels include Stay Up
Forever, Hydraulix, Smitten(RIP), Intec, Spilo,
Patterns.

BIOGRAPHY
Klaus T has been DJing since 1995. The Roots of his love of Techno can be traced back to his country of birth, Germany.
Exposed to its rich Techno tradition from an early age, then visiting famous clubs such as Tresor, Fuse and Munich Airport Raves. Hearing world-class DJs such as Sven Väth, Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing, Klaus T was soon inspired to make the next step in his Techno travels by getting his own set of decks and learning to DJ. Bookings soon followed, in Bars, Clubs, Warehouses and Outdoors before Klaus T then moved to Thailand in 1997.
Thailand exposed him to the trancier (Goa) elements of Techno which he can incorporate into his sets if necessary.
A spell in Switzerland followed where he was part of a collective known for throwing small secret free parties in the mountains.
Then in 2000 he decided to move to London. He soon discovered the Underground Techno scene with its Squat parties and became hooked on the harder edged Techno typical of the parties.
Having DJ’ed for Malfaiteurs Sound System, Every1Sound System at Scala, seOne, Pacha, 54, Aquarium, Public Life, Apothecary, Redstar, George IV, Medicine, Charterhouse, Arch 269 and various Warehouse Raves, he is also putting on parties as part of the Electric Avenue and TechnoTherapy crew.
His experiences of having DJ’ed in different countries is reflected in his ability to deliver a varied Techno set – from minimal through to Deep to Hard.
Currently his favourite Labels and Producers are Kompakt, CLR, Hydraulix, Cocoon, Spiel-Zeug and many many more. |
